Cold War Armored Recon

This is a little project I completed late this summer. The unit is not quite accurate as portrayed, as the ITOW and Sheridan did not overlap in the real service timeline, but the Cold War never turned hot, so who's to say? :)

Finished Cold War US Army

I wrapped up the Cold War US troops today and took the opportunity for some atmospheric photographs.

Thanks for looking!

1980s US Army squad

Hello:

I have a few days off between school and leaving for my internship, so I decided to paint up a set of figures I have contemplated for over a year now - 15mm Cold War US in M1 pots.

For this I used Flames of War US infantry for Vietnam and simply converted a few M79s to M203s and added some M81 camo.

Overall I am happy with my first "proper" Cold War troops and will be adding to them in coming weeks.

I hope everyone has a good summer!

Heaps of IDF in 15mm

I was asked to paint some IDF paratroops and infantry by a gentleman on the Ambush Alley forum and happily jumped at the chance.

These are 15mm figures made by Khurasan and Battlefront.

The Battlefront ones are far superior for the Khurasan, and as a side note, could probably pass as Cold War Canadians, Germans, Danes, Dutch, etc. I'm no expert though, and that is only a quick observation.

Thanks for looking!
