Modern US and hobby news

I actually finished these a while back but never gave was happy with the photographs.
Here they are now though.
Oh yeah, apparently a company called S-model is going into cold war fast builds! They just released a BRDM-1 set, and have prototypes of Sheridan and BMP-1s!!!!!! I think all come as two kits per pack, kind of like a modern Armourfast.
There is also a rumor that Ace will release a brand new version of their BMP-2 in the near future.

    very nice work Ben! oh yay! a BMP and a BRDM great stuff two to a box even better! if its time to start my soviet forces I think that its time I look into these. thanks for the heads up :-D

    great work Ben, the colours are nice and I can see plenty of gun conversions. the middle guy in the third row is especially interesting. nice stuff.

      I was happy with the camo but some of the figures look a bit odd in general in the blown up pictures.

    Thanks Brian, I have since tried a few new techniques on a spare figure with an alcohol wash and am even more happy with that.

    Nice looking little guys with some nice conversions. Could you tell us your technique about the alcohol wash for the camo ? maybe a little step by step topic ?... ;-)
