New HMMWV

I just got three of these brand new resin kits from Corporal Overby's Motorpool. They are really nice kits of a much needed version of the HMMWV. He has at least one more variant, as well as more turrets in progress.

It is cast in clear resin so that the windows don't need any extra work (see the last photo) as this is a solid model.

Thanks for looking, and have a good weekend (it is Friday, right? I think so anyway...)

LED head lamp for effect :D

    1. Thanks, Paul. It was a little fiddly at times, but the result was worth it.

  3. Excellent work, Ben. I love the mud on the sides. Now, who is going to operate this guy? American forces? Iraqi forces? Allies or enemies??!?!

    1. Thanks! The mud is made from a glue/chalk gooey paste.
It was going to be U.S. Army (of course!), but now that you mention it, all of the above work depending on the year!
