It seems like ages ago that I announced my intention to convert and paint a complete platoon from the 75th Ranger Regiment.
After stalling for a long time, I decided to just finish what I had already started, so now I have a reinforced squad of three fireteams and a three man HQ section.
These are all conversions of Vepa Miniatures' modern US Army series.
I added silencers, modified the helmets, made radio sets, and carved holographic sights.
Have a good weekend!
Those are really good.
ReplyDeleteThe bases are excellent too.
Are the figures 1:72 scale ? Resin or metal ?
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey are 1/72 and cast in lead.
Outstanding work Ben!
ReplyDeleteThey really pop mate.
Thank you! I was pleased with them, which is a good thing considering they only took me several months to finish!
DeleteRangers Lead the Way!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have it any other way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking :D
Very nice figures.
ReplyDeleteThe camouflage jacket is very well done, bravo!
Simmy
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGetting a consistent pattern and colors was a challenge, but I'm happy with the result.
Ben you've inspired me to attempt a Caesars plastic conversion (just a simple arm swap but I did pin it with a staple) and I'd have to say I'm very pleased with the results. Thanks for all the inspiration.
