A small unit of well-armed people: US Army Rangers

It seems like ages ago that I announced my intention to convert and paint a complete platoon from the 75th Ranger Regiment.

After stalling for a long time, I decided to just finish what I had already started, so now I have a reinforced squad of three fireteams and a three man HQ section.

These are all conversions of Vepa Miniatures' modern US Army series.

I added silencers, modified the helmets, made radio sets, and carved holographic sights.

Have a good weekend!

  1. Those are really good.

    The bases are excellent too.

Are the figures 1:72 scale ? Resin or metal ?

    1. Thank you! I was pleased with them, which is a good thing considering they only took me several months to finish!

  6. Thanks!
Getting a consistent pattern and colors was a challenge, but I'm happy with the result.

  7. Ben you've inspired me to attempt a Caesars plastic conversion (just a simple arm swap but I did pin it with a staple) and I'd have to say I'm very pleased with the results. Thanks for all the inspiration.
