Here is some WIP I've got going on. I started these a while back but never got past the base coat and mounting them. I got some free time tonight so I thought I'd get one with them!
MTP, or MultiTerrainPattern is basically DPM in the same colors as Multicam, I think both Multi and MTP are made by Crye.

These are mostly from the great Caesar British set I got at Fall-In! with a few from the great Revell set as well. |

51mm Mortar tube by Revell. |
|
I really don't like this pose. |
|
I converted him into a DMR. |
Hope you enjoy this update! I should be able to paint more (and post it) in a couple of weeks.
wonderful work Ben you make me happy... well I have to be to see Brits don't I :-) great work and I agree that pose is a bit crap... especially his bent gun, the downside to plastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gowan, I'm glad they make you happy! That barrel is actually broken, many of them were about to because they are such short guns. Other than that they seem to be two nice sets.
DeleteNice work Ben.Good conversions as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul! The main conversions for this unit is the DMR with L129, and a complete conversion of a FAC, or whatever the Brits call them!
DeleteHi Ben,
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy this update.
The boys are looking good nice paintjob and great basing.
Cheers
Monty
Thanks Monty, I'm enjoying this one as well, but I have a lot more work to do! I'm glad you noticed the bases, I only this week started adding static grass to them I think it helps a lot. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteNice job on the camo- it's a tricky one to do (tried it myself on some Under Fire Miniatures figs) but you've captured the look just right.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pete. I think I'll make the white dashes much smaller and more numerous for the next batch. Other than that I'm happy with how the colors turned out. Thanks for looking.
ReplyDeleteAs others have already said, very nicely painted.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eastern Funker! I painted a few more the other night as well as an Afghan compound: I need to make another post soon.
DeleteExcellent work Ben! Love the camo!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
